One of the hardest things an author has to do is to determine where his/her book 
fits best. I think Black Pearl fits nicely in the Mystery and Suspense category. There’s also some subtle hints at future romance. BUT!!! I just saw that book distributors are placing it in the Domestic Thriller category. I’m pretty stoked!
